Tested on
UrDeck was made for one panel and is checked on the hardware listed here. This list starts with one entry; it grows with reports.
Tested
HYTE Y70 Touch
| Connection | USB-C, shown to Windows as an ordinary monitor |
|---|---|
| Resolution | 1100x3840 (portrait) |
| GPU | NVIDIA GeForce RTX 4090 |
| Windows | Windows 11 Pro, build 26200 |
What was checked:
- The deck covers the panel and stays on it across sleep, a cable pull and a change of scaling
- Touch: taps open shortcuts, swipes change the page
- CPU, memory and GPU readings (load, temperature, power, clock)
- Weather, with the forecast
- Themes and the moving backgrounds
Expected, not tested
A display that Windows treats as a monitor is expected to work: UrDeck lays out a grid of square cells from the monitor's width, so the size and orientation should not matter. That is an expectation, not a result, wherever it is not listed above. GPU load and temperature come from Windows and should work with any GPU; power and clock readings need NVIDIA's driver library today and show a dash on AMD and Intel.
Does not work
Small USB LCD screens that Windows does not treat as a monitor (those driven by their own software through a serial or HID protocol) do not work: UrDeck draws on a display Windows knows about.
Send a report
If you ran UrDeck on something, tell me how it went, whether it worked or not.Open the hardware report form. It asks for the display and how it is connected, your GPU, your Windows version, what worked, and the lines urdeck.log writes at startup (the monitors, the display chosen, the background surface and the source of each reading). Look through those lines before you post them.
